the beginning

hello everyone!
My name is Anojaa. I'm thirthy-something (more something than thirthy as days are passing by). I currently live in Paris, France. I've decided to share my craziness for cross stitching with fellow crazies.
I've read wonderful blogs, so I decide to step in.  It will keep me motivated to post about my progress in my current projects, or so I thought. Let's see!

  1. Dear Anojaa, thank you so much for your comment. I feel with you and know exactly what you are going through. I don't know if you have read further down of my blog. I wrote a post on the first anniversary of my mother's death. Somewhere in the dephts of the internet I found this:

    The Little Ship

I stood watching as the little ship sailed out to sea. The setting sun tinted the white sails with a golden light, and as she disappeared from sight a voice at my side whispered, "He is gone".

But the sea was a narrow one. On the farther shore a little band of friends had gathered to watch and wait in happy expectation. Suddenly they caught sight of the tiny sail and, at the very moment when my companion had whispered, "She is gone" a glad shout went up in joyous welcome, "Here he comes!"

May it comfort you as it did me.

    Hugs

  2. YAY I finally had time to sit down and read your blog. It's awesome. You started it exactly for the same reason as I started mine. We can be obsessive hopeless cases together. I read your last comment on my blog and literally LOL when I read that you bought a Scarlet Quince and Golden Kite chart. I have 2 SQ and 3 GK's. I haven't blogged about them as they are so far down my rotation that I haven't got anywhere near them this year. Congrats on your blog and I will be keeping up avidly with all your progress!
    Happy stitching
